Povishield™ 7.5% Povidone- Iodine Based Surgical Scrub is a broad-spectrum solution that rids the skin of most bacteria, fungi, viruses, and other harmful microbes. This is ideal as a topical germicidal on the skin before surgery. This surgical scrub solution uses a 7.5% Povidone-Iodine solution which makes it effective against a broad spectrum of microbes.

This surgical scrub works against bacteria, viruses, etc. in the presence of blood, serum, and necrotic tissue. It must be used full strength and can either be soaked or applied as a paint. Povishield™ must be allowed to dry before dressing or applying a cast.
